Pop Haydn is not originally from the 21st Century himself, but has been trapped here with a bunch of other maroons from another, very different time and place.
Pop is a magician, comedian, musician and medicine pitchman. He is a past Vice-President of the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, and has been named performing "Magician of the Year" six times, winning in the categories--Stage, Close-Up, Parlor, and Bar.
He is the co-founder with Chef Anton of School for Scoundrels.
Wow…look at the size of that audience. Totally unlike those who work the streets with the straight jacket. A different time, energy, and ‘raison de’terre.
Such a great find Pop.
In understanding that filming this in that era, cameras would have been a lot bigger, editing and such would have been a larger task, and disseminating to a larger audience of the day would have been so different in the day.
As a Busker ( with the cups) and watching my colleagues around the world work the jacket (for profit) on the streets, there is so big a difference to what has gone before.
Awesome, educational, and inspiring.
Nice one Pop, nice one…
