Billy McComb’s Vanishing Bird Cage

The late, truly great Billy McComb performing his Slow Motion Vanishing Bird Cage:

New Pop Haydn Videos Coming Out!

We will be shooting some new teaching videos in the next two weeks! We are very excited!

The videos will include “Phoenix Aces”, “Multiplying Balls for the Street,” and my “Shell Game” routine. These will teach all the moves, patter, and presentational details of each routine. These routines are extremely commercial and strong, and have been an important part of my performing repertoire for many years. These videos will be available before the end of September, and maybe even sooner. They will be $25 at that time, but if you pre-order, you can save $5.00, and be the first to receive the DVD.

My new hand-made Okito Coin Box!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I have been spending the last few days playing with my new Okito Coin Box. This is a wonderful piece made be craftsman Craig Ousterling.

Billy Baque has been staying with me the past few days, and he oversaw the machining of the piece which Craig does on a small lathe, and gifted me with this. Billy has been staying at my house the last few days, and he has been helping me design my routine for the box. Photos by Billy Baque.

I am very excited about the routine, and pleased beyond measure at this generous gift.

Brookledge Follies almost there…

Brookledge

Broookledge

We are SOOOOOO close to reaching our goal!

THANK YOU to EVERYONE who has supported the Brookledge Follies by backing or boosting this project. I am deep touched by the outpouring of love, enthusiasm and encouragement. We have set the date for the Brookledge Theater Grand Re-Opening next year: May 17, 2014.

My goal is to have all of the work completed by May 8, 2014. That is the anniversary of my dad’s birthday, and this will be our gift to him… and to everyone who loves Brookledge. Thank you to all. Truly and deeply. xoxoxo
